NovaScan LLC is a Milwaukee based company founded in 2003 to commercialize breast cancer detection technology. Our mission is to provide the most cost effective and innovative noninvasive cancer detection devices to the medical community. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is through partnership as evidenced in our close alliance and collaboration with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI.

NovaScan is the exclusive licensee for patents related to this technology from WiSys, a division of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF).
NovaScan has developed an in-vivo (FastPath residual cancer probe) and ex-vivo (Electrical Mammogram) device to detect breast cancer (Brochure) or (Powerpoint Presentation).
FastPath Probe: A hand held probe used by surgeons to detect malignant tissue remaining in the surgical cavity during surgery.
Electrical Mammogram: Makes use of the NovaScan proprietary electrical scanning technology as an adjunct to traditional x-ray mammograms to produce a color image that depicts anomalies detected in extracted tissue.
